After close to a decade being a youth gymnastics medalist in Quebec, Kim soon discovered and fell in love with contemporary dance. Since graduating from l’École de danse contemporaine de Montréal in 2011, she performed in more than 60 dance and physical theatre projects as a freelance artist. She most notably danced for Harold Rhéaume, Lucie Grégoire, Jacques Poulin-Denis, Audrey Bergeron, Alex Trahan (Montréal Complètement Cirque), Montréal Danse (George Stamos, Benoît Lachambre), Mélanie Demers, Bettina Szabo and Isabelle Boulanger among others. Her fascination for altered states of consciousness such as hypnosis, meditation and flow state leads her to seek more possibilities of integration of those experiences in her artistic practice. Versatile and curious, she seeks for collaborations which allow her to push her limits in rigour, sensitivity and playfulness.
